oh how was the escaped inmate situation?
they haven’t found him yet. i’m pretty sure he isn’t on our side of town anymore. my mom and i had to go to the store earlier and we passed so many police and department of corrections vehicles, it was crazy. last my mom heard was that they had dogs picking up on his scent like seven miles from here but they lost the trail so still nothing.

Anonymous: I've dealt with the same issue before, though. My mom made me lock the doors because she was at work and I had to keep a phone nearby since it was time for her to get off anyways and come home. But do stay safe and keep the doors locked, windows locked, and everything barricaded. D:

i’m sufficiently barricaded, i hope. we have my mom’s best friend who works with her on speakerphone with us because my mom is still at the prison. she’s the one who has to make all of the phone calls to the inmate’s family members and the inmate’s victim to notify them that he’s escaped.
